A Mata Atlântica da Juréia-Itatins é uma floresta tropical densa, montanhosa, com altos índices pluviométricos e muitas áreas isoladas de difícil acesso. A maioria das tecnologias de monitoramento de fauna não são desenvolvidas para este bioma, sendo inaplicáveis, trabalhosas e custosas demais neste cenário.
O desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias IA nesta região são prioritárias para resultados mais eficientes na monitoração e fiscalização da fauna na Mata Atlântica em tempo real através de centrais equipadas.
